My primary drift rod is a Certified Pro X96MC-T, and it has the same specs as a STR 1143. Can't draw comprehensive comparisons since my experience with a 1143 is limited to a handful of casts, but I'd say the sensitivity is comparable. The 1143 does seem to have more backbone, but I've handled a number of stubborn steelhead in the mid to upper teens with the CP and had no problem. Lamiglas lists the model I have for $240, but I almost always see them in stores for somewhat less.

I'm curious about Lamiglas' titanium (Ti2000) rods. Anyone have a strong endorsement?
