No question, but Cano was the highest paid at the time which put him in a position of leadership. His non-hustling and very relaxed attitude was something I saw other players adopt, most notably Kyle Seager. Unfortunately, in the field, Seager is not as good as Cano, and it bit him badly.


The ghost of Cano still lives on in our current 2019 outfield. Lack of hustle, lolly gaggin', grab ass play. Simple routine stuff is a complete adventure. Couple that with a mediocre bullpen and we WILL blow late inning leads later in the season. Chit, that'll probably start coming to fruition in about 1.5 hours from now. The Asstros don't mess around.
