I would say move to Canada but that place has gone to holy hell. Maybe Alaska? I can try and live in the bush like the Alaskan Bush people and fight off bears, but evidently the Gubmint wouldn't like me living tax free. Whats a feller to do?

I guess I just have to keep lamenting how in 4 days during peak season I had 3 bites and one fish to show for my efforts, and my friend who is a Millenial can say "Hey at least you got one",not realizing what it is we are losing.

I was in Browns Sporting Goods in a town in California near a popular fishing destination,a town overrun with tweakers and wannabe hippy bums who beg for change and stink. The vending machine got smashed while I was staying in the Best Western. The owner Darren and I chatted about the small mom and pop tackle shops slowly closing one by one. I'm sure y'all have them up there.

Once they are gone,a store that has been in place since 1931 and family operated since '47,all that history. All those moments will be lost...

I plan to enjoy what we have while it's still here. While I'm still here. I guess it just made me sad this last weekend, what is gone. What once was. I love people ,but humanity has left me wanting...
