Fvck who needs SSI? It won’t be around when it’s time for me to collect anyway. I’m certainly not counting on it and would be foolish to. I’ve paid quite a bit into the system already... and if I got the chance to opt out now and not have to pay into I’d certainly do that in a heartbeat. I can make more money in the long run managing my own investments instead of relying on government to do it and “take care of me”. Why should that be my problem if other people can’t manage their money?
