You might want to read their "LIMITED" warranty for "damage due to defective materials or workmanship" and their right to replace a discontinued model with a current model of their choosing.

They have changed the wording of their warranty several times in the last couple of years, and the fact of the matter is that they're not replacing my rod with the current rod of similar price or type. Sorry to burst your bubble, but at least you now know. It will be difficult for you to argue with their written policy -- the policy they have practiced loosely in the past.
