Yeah, dude definitely did about 22 stupid things there, many of which, had he not done them, might have not got him shot...but that being said, you can't go around shooting bad guys in the back when they are running away, unless someone's life is immediately in danger.

Most victims of crime do/did things that, had they not, things wouldn't have gone badly for them...still not the right place to be looking when assessing if it was legal or not.
