I actually made him puke climbing a hill on the North end of Prince of Wales for an overnight deer hunt, gotta say that guy is a gamer, tough dude in tough country, started with a bit too heavy of a pack in an old overgrown with devils club and worse clearcut, walking logs over the brush, didn't touch the ground for a half mile is seemed, then moved into the blowdown laced big timber to climb the last thousand feet or so to the alpine....passed a decent 3 point buck, as it was Booner only zone.

Personality plus, we had an "interaction" with three AK State Troopers running a bear decoy along side the road, there was no doubt in anyone's mind who was in charge by the time it was over. He had those pups saying "Momma told me there'd be days like this" by the time it was over.

Parting line "you may catch an indian with that thing, but you won't get any white guys".

Don't be fooled into thinking he's a blowhard....if he says it, it's true, if he says he did it...he did.

....just don't mix with alcohol. I think he may have a mean streak.
