The celebration of ignorance and concurrent denigration of facts and logic will eventually be the downfall of our country if it is not somehow reversed.

"The best argument against Democracy is a five minute conversation with the average voter."

Though not uttered by Winston Churchill, that quote is still relevant here...as dumber and dumber voters take over the electorate, the lower and lower that average gets...and we end up with a two-bit conman who literally failed at every single venture he spearheaded as a President.

Arguing over ideas and policies is one thing that Democracy depends on...arguing with stupidity is the one thing that will destroy it.
