I worked at a fishing and hunting shop in Bellingham in 1999-2000 so maybe gun laws are different now and guns aren't as accessible. In that year we had very insane fidgety guys come in and my boss told me to let him in on the gun sales as soon as I identified an unstable person. He would skillfully talk to them and basically talk them out of buying a gun. One day, there was a guy who was probably suicidal came in and my boss talked to him for hours and didn't sell him a gun.

I definitely believe that people who should not buy guns attempt to buy guns and there is are ethical gun sales and not ethical gun sales. I have no idea how to make it a law.
