I can not disagree with you Todd, but I would add in a lot of the liberal and progressive ideas with it. My daughter had a good school friend with severe anxiety and other mental issues, to the point he was hospitalized for a while. For most of Junior high and High School his mother teased him about being gay, as several of his best friends were girls. My daughter asked him about it and he would always say it never bothered him, as he knew he wasn't guy. He had no problem with it, but he liked girls. Then, at some point in his junior year, he told
her he might be bi-sexual. Then, he decided he must be gay. Then, by the middle of his Senior year his whole demeanor had changed and he started acting very flamboyant. Poor kid is so confused he has no idea who he is. He has been suicidal and it would not surprise me if he ends up dead in the next year or two. The sad thing is, I really don't think he's gay. His anxieties are just so strong he started worrying he was, and then everyone around him started telling him that he needed to experience it, try it out, that he must be gay or he would not be thinking that way. At the end of the day, he just real confused.
