Finished up the season last Saturday on upland birds. Dog did good and we broke the century mark on Huns, plus added a couple more wild roosters. Birds are still in good shape with lots of fat reserves. Stopped bothering the quail before T-day, but there were lots around. Really happy with how the pup worked, and looking forward to next season. I hope the birds have a good hatch, and a mild spring with warm-ish temps for the chicks!

Just found 30#'s of copper-plated 7.5's that I bought (wish I could find some "affordable" copper 6's too). Will be loading them on the 20/28ga Grabber's that I bought this fall. Have over a 1000 old school AA20ga CF once-fired cases, and 500+ AA28 CF cases too (and a case of AA28 wads). Just need some 20ga "hunting wads", as those have been getting phased out.

Anyone have some older 20ga wads; like Fed 20S1, AA1oz, AA20F1, RXP20 or SP20? I have several 1000 AA20 wads for 7/8oz, but I like 1oz for later season shots.
