I don't think I want to base the truth from a sport fishing article in a magazine unless it is based on science. I want to see the the offical study of barbless vs barbed before I agree. I agree with Native Son there are more bleeders with barbs. I believe if we want to keep the C&R mortality to minimum on wild steelhead and juveniles we should evaluate our fishing methods to help reduce the impact.
