Well said Johnny. I have to agree 100%. Seems like the whole fishin thing has taken the turn towards a big giant cut throat competition (no pun intended). A guy used to fish for relaxation and enjoyment, and we need to bring that back to fishing. When I guided in Louisiana, there were 3 other guides that would meet on a little grass hammock in the marsh, and we would make lunch for our clients, and compare notes on how the fishing was. If it was rocking, we would call each other on the ship to shore radios, and share the joy. I think those days are long gone. I'd love to be an honorary out of state member of the SRBC. It's amazing how many friends i have met by shootin the breeze with guys on rivers. It's led to a lot of new fishing opportunities for me, and for them. Gotta say your post was timely. Better to build yourself up with your owm efforts, than to pile turds on the next guy to make yourself look better. Robbo didn't bring the blow up doll to the Zipper a couple years ago. With the wind, snow, and rain, we could have kept her busy. Tell old 5 foot 19 inch tall boy toy, that Hawk says hey. Out
