I agree wholeheartedly with what Desertdog said. It's more then just catching fish. I always like to leave the river bank cleaner then it was when I got there. If I see someone fishing along the bank I'll share information and/or tactics with them to help them get into a fish. I think a good fisherman respects the fish they are fishing for.
