Hey Posh, wanna know why the clams are a mile deep at down at the southern beaches??? Because alot of the people in those areas are thumpers. I know when they closed Copalis Beach and my Dad and I had to head down toward Grayland we were in clamming hell. We're both sight diggers and surf diggers so between all the guys thumping around us we lost all the neckers. Nothing worse then shovel in hand and having to thump. Usually the north beaches were all sight diggers. Damned, I wish I coulda went this weekend. Had too much to do around the house. To miss the north beach makes it worse!!!!!

Clamming isn't too hard. Once you get your niche it's a piece of cake.
