Whoa!!

I think its the best finesse line out there; emphasis on finesse. I use it on my light action spinning gear (6-10lb rod) during the summer. Its soft, thin diameter, and very well behaved on a spinning reel; you can fit over 100 yds of 10 lb on any 2000 series Shimano. And its a hell of lot stronger than Trilene XL. Also disagree with those who say it has poor knot strength.

Strength wise, it doesn't compare to the thicker, stiffer lines met for casting reels like Maxima and Trilene XT, so I wouldn't dream of using it on an 8-12 or 10-17 lb rod. This is like comparing apples and oranges in my opinion. But for that August/September low water, bright sky, light weight, summer-running, you can't beat it.

Has anyone out there used the new Maxima finesse line (forget what its called). I'm thinking of trying it this summer, as well.
