It's easy. Take HWy 14 out of Vancouver. Go through Camas, Washougal,Bonnavill,etc. All the while staying on 14. Go through the town of Stevenson and keep going until you make it to the turn off to Carson (approx. 4 miles past Carson.) Take the turn to Carson ( it will be a left) Stop in town and ask for directions to the Hotsprings, or continue through town to mile marker #7. You'll see the parking lot on the left. Park there and follow the trail down to the river and start fishing. This latter set of directions is to the much talked about "Canyon" Don't be put off by all the negative posts surrounding the "Canyon" It's not that bad a hike to get into. Just bring some good lug sole hiking boots. Bring a good back pack, and bring some drinking water. Leave the waders at home, you don't need them. Good luck, Mofo!
