Hi Everyone,

I have an 18' cuddy with a 125 Merc and a 9.9 Merc kicker. The hull draft is 1' 2", but her max draft is 2' 7". Realistically, the vessel is not oar-capable.

All of my salmon fishing has been in the salt, but lately I've been wondering about fishing the Skagit. My wife's from Samish Island and we go up to that area frequently. Everytime I cross the Skagit I can't help but think "I oughtta give this a try".

I'm also very happy to take someone out who knows the river and can show me the ropes.
