What I've done was to mount an old ski rack that I picked up for practically nothing at a garbage sale and mounted it on the cab of my truck. From there I let my imagination figure what I wanted and best apply to it. Works great and can store up to eight rods if needed. And when I river fish moving from slot to slot, I don't have to break the rod down, just gotta watch out for those low lying branches.
