There are more coming that way, too. Fished the a.m. near the Cadman pit in Monroe. Landed a 10 pounder (a little gray, but my first silver of the year so had to mark it down), then a 15lb. buck right before I was going to pack it in.

The water level is NOT conducive to easy fighting of fish from the bank. Can't believe I didn't lose him in some of the tree limbs and boulders.

Red corky and pink yarn, by the way, about 32" of leader, and a little membrane left from a wad of roe. Got NO hits with a fresh piece of bait, numerous with very little left. Even in this dirty water they seem to prefer a subtle approach.
