The river RT is referring to is actually the Capilano. Not, in my opinion, worth fishing, but it doers get good returns and it is in the city. I also recommend Vic www.guidebc.com for the Fraser River and the Fraser Valley rivers. He's on the water 300 days a year so he knows whats up.

By the second week of novermber the Salmon runs are almost done...there is some late fish entering the Vedder, and a couple smaller streams in the area recieve late Coho returns, none of which I will mention here You won't be able to fish for Steelhead as the early winter fish are still a month away.

You might want to try Sturgeon fishing (all C&R) the Fraser with a guide. It's prime time sturge fishing right now, and with your exchange rate a guide will cost you very little.
