Hello Parker, glad to know who you are now, and be able to recognize you next time I see you. We had some great fishing didn't we, before I knew it I asked the guy standing next to me what the time was and realized that I had to stop fishing and go to work (LATE, but good thing I make the schedule). Thats why you saw me zooming by as you guys were taking a picture of that big King.
I was the lonely guy in the sled that was at the forks, I really did not think the river would be in such good shape, I was expecting a sea of mud down below. You are right when you state that the river probably would not be too fun with all the boats expected for the flotilla, but I heard a hot tip (e-mail if you like) that would make one of our other choices okay. You probably already know anyways.
I would like to know who the fellow was, that was standing next to me ,I handed him my rod to hold, as I helped another angler release a chum. while he has two rods in his hand , mine gets a fish on and he's yelling quick, grab your rod! It was too funny, anyway, he seemed like a great guy with a good disposition, unlike a few of the fellows fishing there. Sure was glad that I wasn't one of the guys who walked on their property to get to the river.
PS. Hope I didn't disturb too many with my sled! When I got to the launch there were only three vehicles, and one of them was my steelheading partner. I was very surprised, to see that many fishers out that morning. laugh rolleyes
