 be assured that chinook and coho are not only highly dependent upon freshwater invertebrates for food. They actually gain most of their size feeding on the saltwater stuff....but still yeah that's a good idea as all those nutrients ultimately  flow downstream to the saltchuck to help produce the quarry we dearly love and pursue.
