Well, I see where you could be right. It rained on Sat. and I fished Sun. The water was up and was a little bit clear, but it had lots of debris. Mon. it had dropped a couple inches. By this Wed. it had dropped about 8" and was clear. The fish were probably just moving.

RT, I have altered one of my guppies so it has a beadchain off the belly and a pink squid off the back. I haven't used it yet, but it looks good. I think I missed a fish a fish on Mon. due to not having a beadchain on the wiggle wart. It felt like a fish grabbed it and let go.

Now for free drifting bait, I don't know how to do that. It seems like the current would take the line and pull the bait around. I only have 12lb test on my spinning reel, should I look for another reel that I can put 4 or 6 on?
