Eight pound summer run hatchery fish. Pretty darn bright, and my buddy took a pretty nice picture, too, the most marginal part being me, compared to the fish and the river behind me.


Oops, not a very bright one. This one went 38.5", probably 19=21 lbs, give or take. Didn't take the time to get the girth. Nice picture except for the moron who didn't take his glasses off for the pic.

These fish were both caught on July 17 of this year. Ryan, nice chance that I'll tell you where. They were part of a seven fish day, five of which were clipped like the little chromer above, in a river that hasn't been planted for nearly ten years.

That's enough hints for anyone who knows of the river to get it. If you've ever been there you'd have to recognize both of the scenes in the photos. They're pretty prominent.

If you know, keep it under your hat! Trades for other secret spots are always on the table!
