Looks lile you finally got it figured out PP, but for those that haven't. It's really quite simple: Upload your picture by following the instructions in the Visitor's photo gallery (link at the top of the page).

Once the picture is uploaded, you can right click on the picture and click on "copy shortcut".

Then in your post to a thread, click on the "image" button below the text entry area and then paste the address into the box that will open up for you. Make sure "http://" has only one instance. Click OK

That's it, the pic will appear in your post!
