What a bunch of Green Heads. For a guy showing up in a carharts jacket and a CNN hat I sure did get alot of goofy looks. Come on at least the jacket was black. I was thinking afterwards I could have had a little fan with the hat and an offical looking note pad. Yes I am a CNN correspondant. laugh

I think it was more of a social event for environmentalists. Just short of tuxedos. RT you would have enjoyed the free, I said free, beer and wine and catered finger food. The good stuff too.

There was some interesting stuff about da Ho wiver. Mostly from the stand point of what make good rearing habitat and an excellent ariel comparison of the lower flood plains of the Kilches and the Ho. All the side channels (coho rearing etc) are gone from the K. Ho still has good productivity. Good shots of what 6' logs and root wads do to secure gravel and make pools in upper basins.

The presentation did give me a greater appreciation for the efforts they are undertaking however unrealistic. 30 million to buy up key habitat on the Ho to ensure survival of the species. That was the main objective of the "slide show".

Thats my report

eeeeyouck!!!!!
