Yes the high vis helps greatly in tracking the line through the drift.
I just spooled up with fire line again for the nate season,it is great line and alows for quicker hook to release time.
You have to be carefull though!Because of it's very low stretch it can be unforgiving.I hooked a bigger native a couple of days ago and lost it because I havent used the line for a while.The fish snapped my leader because the zero strech means you have to set your drag a little lighter.Native steelhead like to flat out bolt on you and if youre not carefull they can load up your gear reel quick!thats what happened to me,with mono I think I would not have lost that fish as quickly,the line also acting as a shock absorber!It was also headed down a pretty rough and long drop that I wasn't willing to chase it down!I still would of lost it!
