It depends on which drift on the Queets you're talking about. From the campground to Streeters you've got Sam's rapids--worth scouting before you row the rockgarden at first light. It also depends on the water level--lower levels are more challenging. I haven't been down the middle drift from Streeters to Hartzel this year. Like most OP rivers you always have the potential sweeper or changes in river channel to contend with. The easiest stretch is from Hartzel to the Clearwater bridge. The take out under the bridge includes a 20 shale cliff, bring a good line of at least 50 feet. I heard that the launch on the other side of the river may be available for a fee, check it out before you start. Steelhead returns on the Queet are projected to be low this year for wild fish--although I don't know how accurate the predictions are. The Queets is a beautiful float even if you don't catch a steelhead. Good luck, and be safe on the river.
