So exactly how do you define 'boat racing'??

If some one puts in before me, he runs down to the second hole and I run down to fourth, am I racing him or just trying to find a good piece of firstwater?? Should I just fish my entire day behind him or is there an acceptable passing etiquette I haven't figured out yet?

Some guys don't like it if, while they are holding in a hole, you fish spinners through the tailout as you drift by...what do you think? Is that just another kind of 'lowholing'??
