I also want to include that it is a good idea to use a Pole Cat or Rod Wrap to transport your rod to fishing hole. I have found that before I started to do this, I would incur problems ie., scratches, missing eyelets, breakage etc. Be sure to store rod properly to, away from heat and traffic. This has become a drill for me each time
I go fishing and it works. I have lot of Rods and reels that have lasted thru the years. I still keep adding when appropriate. I forgot to mention that its always good to wash salt and grit or slim from your Rods and Reels before storage. If you lived near Seattle I would sell you one of my 1025's. I have two including one GL2. I have heard a lot of really good stuff about TH rods in the past. When I figure out what I need I am going to have him custom make me a Rod. Any way I have directed specific information to you and only you. Not inviting others to critique or correct me. wink Anyway there are those of us that really care and want you to continue to grow and enjoy the sport you love called fishing. smile
