Crabbing must be pretty good. I see many, many boats along the Everett to Mukilteo shoreline. And in another post on the board there was mention of a tribe member who had several 55 gallong drums of crab. I didn't even realize it was open for commercials due to the soft shell condition. It's a shame sportsman only can crab Fridays thru Monday.

I suppose it's the wave of the future: openings for fishing will be centered on weekends and not during the work week. Should produce some spectacular crowds like at the Tulalip bubble for all species.

Was surprised how short the spot shrimp season was. Ya blink ya miss it. Wow...sportsman must have really hit them hard for that two weeks or so it was open.

If anyone missed Kruse's article in the paper last week, you can get samon heads and guts at John's Sporting Goods in Everett for $4.95 per pound. Kruse says these are the best baits for crabbing. And if that doesn't work I expect you could find some crab for sale from the tribes somewhere.

So how did you all do crabbing this weekend?
