tried the claybanks today. we were on the water at 5:30 with 85 other boats. we were motor mooching at 60 ft when a downrigger came across our stern and hooked a 15 pounder. just my luck. he said he was at 100 ft. my wife says i should have taken her. (she's probably right), anyway, only saw 2 other fish, on the dock. The skillful angler said 100 ft, downrigger, white flasher, white hoochie, be there at 4:30 in front of slag pile. good luck.
