I'll second SAUK on this one: SHARPEN YOUR DAMN HOOKS!!!

After the initial hookset, wait for the fish to stop his first run and if he's facing away from you, set it agian! Keep good tension and dont horse him and you will do just fine.

Remember, this is steelhead and you will lose some battles just like everyone else, but keeping sharp hooks will definetly help the odds. wink
