Well,I've been waiting for this thread for some time.As of this time the chums are about 2 weeks too far gone.I hadn't kept any until I pulled in fairly chrome hen a week ago.When I cut her open the eggs just spilled out.And yes the flesh is pale white.The best of the run was purse seined the last week of Oct and first 12 days of Nov.Nothing got through.Hell,the hatchery didn't even know about it.If you want to partake in the snag/floss fest wait til low tide then hammer the spawned out carcasses with the crowds.Just remember that all the property is private and access is only on the low bank side.Oh yeah pick up the trash
