My good friend who fishes the Thompson a ton, called today to say the latest rage up there is a 11 foot Lamiglas rated for 10-20 pound test line. I don't know the model number. He and several of the region's top rods are using it for tossing spoons. He says it's an awesome spoon rod. He tells me the added length is a huge advantage. My question, is how long is too long? Will they all be using 12 foot rods soon? .
