That is, of course, if you're not trying to shoot right handed when, in fact, you are left eye dominant or vice versa. I think your time at CWU has given you a quick wit and proficiency with the keyboard, but you seem to lack much experience at the range be it rifle or trap. If you ever open up to idea of shooting more trap and taking part in some of the different money shoots and long range games it could very well help you in the field. 
You can go on about chukars and quail and hunting difficult areas for upland game, but it doesn't compare to laboring across the mud in the dark to get to your spot before the tide begins to come in.

Trap is a GAME....It has little to no practical use for real hunters. I prefer shooting targets that might actually improve my skills. But then again, many people like to just FEEL good instead to BE good at shooting.
I don't believe you've ever been seriously chukar hunting. Side hilling shale covered hills is a little more difficult than a little mud. Duck hunters and upland hunters...will they ever just get along?? Duck hunters tire to easily, can't keep up with the real deal!
Anyway.. I posted this morning, but I seem to have not sent it.. Do you actually run hunt tests?? You know, the ones were a JH means nothing and a MH is just a QAA copy cat? LOL.. just kidding with you... I have a FC-AFC Sun Valley Nugget x FC-AFC Super Boomer *****, son.. Might see you out there next spring. Too bad hunt tests are non-competitive, if they were I could have my dog beat you as well.. but I'll settle for me just having the authorita.
