I'm with ya on those hoppy beers; I don't care for them, either. I've been homebrewing for a few years and most are porters and stouts. Lots of malt and body with just a hint of residual sweetness and coffee tones.

But next time I break on through to the other side I'll make it a point to hunt down a Rosyln Amber.

A small brewer called "Rocky Creek" makes a FINE beer and it's on tap their. It's their Honey Firewood ale.. A subtle beer, but awesome!
