I usually see 2-3 cats a year, but never had one come at me. This year during bowseason my partner had a cat at less that 30 yards but couldn't get a clear shot. He was freaked out bad.
I guess if seattle hadn't got rid of hound hunting we wouldn't be seeing so many cougars.
