After reading these posts I feel compelled to tell about my fishing partners experience with them. They have a nice 22' cuddy that had a small oil leak, they did not look that hard for the leak. The leak was noticed when taking the boat out of the water so they took it to a place in Auburn to have them look at it. Well to make a ****ty story short, this shop pulled the motor to notice that the oil had a small leak. Something that should have and could have been resolved by just checking the filter and a couple hours of labor. The bill for them to remove and install a new oil filter by removing the entire motor was over $1,500.00 they have since changed the filter in under 30 minutes and can you believe it they didnt have to pull the entire motor to do it.
I told them i would have sought legal advice to how best handle this mess.
