Lavro been berry berry good to me.
To me they are the Checker Cab of driftboats. I'm still using one I bought in '83. Mine's been through three motors, two trailers and too many anchors, oars and rivers to count and it's still barking at the door when I throw a vest on.
I don't think you can go wrong with either but Ron puts out a quality product with performance and durability at the top of his list. His chines are everything he says they are. Many of my hard core tin-can buddies used to laugh at this little glass boat on some of the rivers we floated. They're not laughing now. Some of them are salvage and a couple are still wearing permanent smiles from the rock gardens we went through. No boat is indestructible but it's nice to have the advantages of glass and the durability of aluminum where it really counts.

Smooth driftin'.
