As far as lingin' in the greater Seattle area goes, all I have to say is that they are everywhere! I won't get too specific on the exact locations, dont' need to just as long as you are near rocks and/or kelp, but I will say to go late since lings will not feed as agressively in shallow waters with bright sunlight...hint hint

I agree with the fact that a warden could pop you for targeting salmon when running Kwikies for lingers, but the same thing goes for using whole herring which I get a lot of lings on as well. Lingcod are just mean critters and anthything live or wounded-looking will not last long in their presence.
