Jerry...I respect your wisdom on this subject and agree that this gets out of hand and petty but it is an emotional issue with well defined battle lines. Our fish populations worldwide have been allowed to be plundered for profit for so long without mitigation that now we are in a real mess. We are simply debating the issue of a minority, and some say extreme, position to solve the problem by eliminating hatcheries and all non-native species. There are many groups and individuals working on habitat improvements and hatchery reform ideas, not just WT. Just because some of us go a little nuts in opposition to WT's tactics doesn't mean we aren't working outside of this forum for positive change. A pretty good majority of us disagree with the gun-to-the-head method of getting our way.
