About the 3rd week in July, switch over to the Slag Pile and fish out in the deeper water. The travel path of most fish will be outside the normal boat traffic fishing closer in.

I don't fish the east side for returning fish unless I am over off the Puyallup.
Sorry to bring this back up from the dead. But when you say cable crossing, you talking about the one just south of Fragaira? And where is this slag pile? I usually just read these forums, but couldnt pass up trying to find a good place to catch fish, I've been skunked the past bunch of times out
