I hate the baby sitting part. One of my fishing "partners" has been at it as long as I have (30+ yrs) AND HE STILL CANT EVEN TIE HIS OWN GEAR UP! He is constantly borrowing AND LOSING my stuff. He didn't even have a salmon rod until I made him get one. He wants one rod that does it all from trout to hailbut.... and preferably changes its own line as well. He seems to think that my gear is his gear. Where do you draw the line? When is it too much? Maybe dear abby will have the answer! I am done babysitting inept fishing partners... I am not saying I wont take someone out from time to time and help them learn how to fish. I'm saying no more cottling someone who has had years to learn what to do and when to do it. Maybe I'll have to run a classified ad for a competent fishing parter.
