I took the family to a local lake to watch the fireworks and grabbed one rod so my son could fish off the dock. He threw crankbaits and caught a few Bass and Perch when he hooked a large fish.........I thought he had a snag! When I saw the trout I ran for the video camera while a freind was taking pictures. By the time I got back to the dock my son had the fish landed and was getting his picture taken with it. I took some measurements (biggest trout I've ever seen) and it was 25 x 17 1/2. We released the fish (I've got him trained on C&R) and next week I'll be checking on having a replica mount done that will be a surprise Christmas gift.
