Like I said, I have caught many, many coons and I have not had a "problem". But like any trapped wild animal, you can't leave them in there all day long and expect them to remain clam. You are right about covering them up, and it makes there trip back to the woods a whole lot easer on both you and the animal.

It's just like everything else in life . . . you have to make a choices!

Bad feet vs death isn't really that hard for me to make, just ask old cooney boy!

Most store bought traps are way to small and that is why the animal gets pantic .
