I am not a attorney but my parents are and I remember when someone had broken into my car in highschool I had the same idea about putting sharp objects behind my stero, till my mom informed me about the trouble that I could get into if the thief deceide to sue.

How ironic, the thiefs geto steal , but if they get hurt in the process they can sue you..
