i've fished the past 5 week ends out of westport w/ green EZ diver (the smaller of the 2 but MUST say EZ Diver on it & be the 4 oz model) & a green fish flash (looks like a triangle with one side green, the other disco, & has an eye on it at te narrow part of flash) & COHO cut herring (fresh, day old fresh, and frozen) and/or a an apex or 3.5 silver coyote when the bait ran out, limited (king over 20 & silver 10) every time...

up to last week end it was red in the am, green in the afternoon, apex & coyotes when the sun was out full, blue size @ 18 - 23 pulls fo kings, green size @ 8 - 18 pulls for silvers when cloudy or foggy ...

it's foolish to pull cut herring w/o a flash ...
