Fished from 6am to 9:30am (had a lot of honey-do's to get home for). The bait at Jeff Head was unreal. I've never seen so much boiling around me. My rods were shaking at several points. Which may be why the fishing was slow - too much bait! In any case, there was a solid 8am (tide change) bite and we nailed a great 11 pound hook nose silver. Plus lost another about the same size and lost a snaller one. All went after flasher/spoon set ups. Depth - the 11 pounder hit at 35 pulls on a deep six, the others at 45 ft on the rigger. A great mornign to be on the water!

BTW, to the boat that sacarstically commented on my three rods running - my two boys were hanging out in the cabin. Next time give someone the benefit of the doubt before you start pissing and moaning. rolleyes
